Writing Workshops & Fundraiser

The Florida Writers Foundations is excited to announce a full day of workshops for writers. One hundred percent of the proceeds assist the Florida Writers Foundation in fighting illiteracy.

Workshops will be held October 18, 2012 at The Orlando Marriott in Lake Mary, Florida, the day before the Florida Writers Association’s annual conference.  Registration for these pre-conference sessions are available to Florida Writers Association members for a reduced price, but you do not have to be a member to attend.

Industry professionals will share secrets that bring success. Learn from the best during this full day, intensive learning experience.

2012 Silent Auction

Florida Writers Association has graciously granted Florida Writers Foundation space for a silent auction at their 11th Annual Writers Conference October 19-21, 2012. Last year, over 400 writers, editors, and publishers attended, and this year promises to be even bigger and better!

The Florida Writers Association’s 11th Annual Writers Conference will be held at the Orlando Marriott Lake Mary, an outstanding hotel that’s small enough to not get lost, but big enough to offer excellent services. The day before, on October 18, Florida Writers Foundation will host their 4th annual full day of writing workshop, with registration fees going to help promote literacy efforts across Florida.

FWF has its own Silent Auction website to showcase the items, and we welcome donations! If you have an item or service that you’d like to donate, please contact Susan Boyd, Shara Smock, or Karen Lieb. FWF will be happy to advertise the item with a link back to your individual or company website.
